The Scottish Moroccan Society

The Scottish Moroccan Society was set up to organise Scottish themed socials, promoting the relationship between Scotland and Morocco & revel in all things Scottish!
After the success of an impromptu Burns Night in The Compton Restaurant in Gueliz, Marrakech the idea of starting up a Society was born. This will be the first event of its kind. It is unique and tailor made and we hope to do organise a repeat every year.
This year we will be celebrating St Andrew’s Day and already the plans are really exciting! Imagine the combination of the these two great hosts coming together… Piping bands, gnouwa, reeling and belly dancing!

Education For All is our nominated charity. For over 10 years they have been providing education for girls.
Starting in September we will be organising Scottish Socials. Once every few weeks we will get together, learn to reel and generally have fun!
We have teamed up with The London Reels. Thanks to them, we have been able to feature their tutorial reels on our dedicated page to them. Should you be in London – do go and join them for their Scottish Socials – they are always great fun! www.LondonReels.co.uk
