Born n bred in England and living with her family in Morocco for over 16 years, Natasha understands the needs of planning a party or an event and the mechanics of working in Marrakech.
Growing up close to Gatcombe Horse Trials, she helped organised the infrastructure of the International event from a very early age over the many years whilst living close by. Event mangement projects followed on in Earls Court and Olympia.
Before marriage and moving, Natasha worked extensively in and behind the scenes of the fashion business both in Haute Couture and in designing High Street clothing. She worked in fashion PR, sales and marketing and the set up and formation of catwalks at London Fashion Week and exhibitions in Earls Court and Olympia. She was a former founding director of Party Maroc with Alex Peto, Mark Attwood and Meryanne Loum-Martin.
After moving to Marrakech in 2003, the beauty and craftsmanship of living and breathing Marrakech prompted Natasha to set up a couture business for children aged 0-10. Using her 4 children as sizing models, she created organic cotton clothing mixing the embroidery of England, France and Morocco. A catwalk followed and as a result sales to local and international shops.
She and her husband set up The Compton Live Music Pub and Restaurant. It was there at Burns Night in January that the idea of starting up The Scottish Moroccan Society was born. Natasha has found a wonderful team to organise the first Scottish Moroccan Society Event both in Marrakech and beyond. It is thanks to them that we can enjoy and create memories this 2019 .
